Trying to icon that rooftop kissing scene was a bitch. I kind of gave up after the fifth icon. bleh. I hope the next kissing scene is in a nice bright room with a solid colored backdrop. Who cares if bright light is not romantic. :)

I iconed the whole dang episode. So much stuff happened I couldn't resist. And I still have a few quote icons I want to make. I'll save those for the next batch though. I did icon what I thought was one of the best quotes of the episode. By Josef of course. He always gets the best lines. :)

Please let me know if I spelt anything incorrectly. I messed around with color quite a bit in some of these icons. Icon #73 is my personal favorite.

Not a huge entry this time. I'll have some Gerard Butler icons next time. I'm waiting for an icontest to end before I can post them.

So, I've been practicing my blending skills again with that first MickBeth banner. What do you think? It's made with screencaps from "The Mortal Cure" and a promo photo. The Mortal Cure caps are from the scene in the hallway. Mick's reaction struck me as very paternal. He would forgive Beth anything, which is a very parental thing to do. So yeah, he sees her in a very complex way and really, he's so much older, wiser and more experienced than she is. So he's very patient with her.

The caption I just kind of made up myself. The small text is from "Kite" by U2. (Yes, I use a lot of U2 lyrics in my graphics)

The other banner is the flip side of the coin. Sexy and amusing. We can all deal with this, right? They are not related, so it's ok, calm down. ;)

Moonlight icons...27 - 29 are just miscellaneous. I'm not sure about 30. Icons 31 - 46 are from "The Ringer". The last four icons are totally gratuitous wet chesty Mick icons. What can I say. :)

I added...whatever, sour, stained, solitude, red, my love, determined, and choosen one...to the themed icons. And I added icons 20 - 23 to the Artist's Choice icons.

I have mostly Moonlight icons this time. From the episodes Arrested Development and B.C.. Mostly from "B.C." though.

Stock Photo Icons
I have a 10 Autumn/Fall themed stock photo icons. The last two stock icons are a blend of two images. It's a technique I am experimenting with that has really been perfected by another icon maker who does these types of blends beautifully. And as soon as I remember her name I will add it to this entry because she really deserves credit for the idea and plus you really should go look at her icons. They are fantastic.

James Marsters Icons
I made some icons from those lovely new photos of James Marsters that were taken for his new album. I have no idea if Like a Waterfall is the title to one of James' songs or not. I'm guessing it probably is though. It is a song and I heard it in Atlanta I just forgot. My point is, I would have liked to use the lyrics on the icons, but since I have no idea what the lyrics are, and since I suck at coming up with text to put on icons, I decided to use words from this beautiful, yet sad and tragic, poem by Henry Kendall called "The Waterfall". I've used the words completely out of context, so you'll see they have a different meaning when used on the icons and are much cheerier. It all worked out somehow. I don't normally post poems, but I've posted this one at the bottom of the entry if you want to read it.

The first James icon that says "Everywhere you go you shout it.....etc." are lyrics to a U2 song called "Original of the Species". I've posted the lyrics in the sidebar of my personal journal if you want to read them. Bono is The Bard! :)

The last three James icons are not from the "LaW" photos. The third from last icon is from a photo taken by oanimation at Dragon*Con and the last two are from "Civilized Man".

I'll make this quick. These icons are from episode 1 of Moonlight. There are some icons of Josef as well. But I am smitten with Mick St. John. What can I say.

I have Buffy the Vampire Slayer icons and stock photography icons. The first stock photography icon is from a Cavalia scan so it really doesn't count as stock photography.

I just recently became aware of Buffy's world. I started watching the episodes on DVD about a month ago and I am almost finished with season 7. Then I will probably move onto Angel since I haven't seen that series either. It's all new for me and something really great to watch during the Summer when nothing is on TV.

Anyway, I was inspired to make some icons. The first 10 Buffy icons are from ep 1 of season 7, the other two are misc. I bet you can't guess who my favorite character is? ;)

There are a couple of headers and a friends only banner all with matching icons. Grab what you like. If you need text changed or added on the headers, FO banner or icons please let me know and I will customize them for you. Please don't do it yourself because it will just look weird. I have mostly Dresden Files icons because that is my current obsession interest. And besides, not many people are making Dresden Files icons. Everything else you can find in abundance.

I'm trying something different this time. Normally I seperate my fandom icons from my stock icons, but this time I'm just going to throw them all in here together. Everyone else does it, so why not.

I have 28 Dresden Files icons and 3 banners. Mostly Harry again because I am a little obsessed at the moment. There are a couple of Morgan and Murphy. I promise more of the latter next time.

There are only 5 stock icons. I tried something I saw another icon maker do. She made stock photography icons from a panoramic photo and it looked really cool. I don't think I captured it quite as well as she did, but this was my first try. *shrug*

There are also 5 Stock Photography banners and they are "text" customizable. Just let me know what you want and I will be happy to fix them up for you.

I realize English phone booths have been done to death, but I just had to experiment and do my take on them. I found all the pictures around the peak of my recent Superman obsession.
